AirPods Pro 3 runs on the Apple H2 chip, and Apple states Active Noise Cancellation is up to 2x that of AirPods Pro 2 and up to 4x the original AirPods Pro. This generation adds a heart rate sensor and ships with five silicone ear tip sizes, from XXS to L, which helps if smaller ear canals have been a problem for you before. Noise control and Conversation Awareness
Alongside Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode, AirPods Pro 3 supports Adaptive Audio, Voice Isolation and Conversation Awareness. When you start speaking, the earbuds lower the volume and let more of the room in, so you are not pulling them out every few minutes.
H2 chip and Spatial Audio
The H2 chip drives a custom driver and amplifier, and handles Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking. The MagSafe case carries Apple's second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for locating it.
Heart rate sensing
LEDs inside each earbud pulse invisible light 256 times per second to read your heart rate, and Apple states this works across more than 50 workout types. The earbuds carry an IP57 rating for dust, sweat and water resistance for non-water sports and exercise.
Battery and fast charge
Up to 8 hours of listening on a single charge with ANC on, or up to 10 hours in Transparency with the Hearing Aid feature. Total listening time with the case is up to 24 hours, and 5 minutes in the case gives roughly 1 hour of listening.

Q: Is the case USB-C? A: Yes. It is a MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C), and it also works with Qi-certified wireless chargers and the Apple Watch charger.
Q: Can I swim with them? A: No. IP57 covers dust, sweat and water resistance for non-water sports and exercise. Apple does not state they are suitable for swimming.
Q: What if none of the ear tips fit well? A: Five sizes are included, XXS through L. Try each one, then run the Ear Tip Fit Test on your iPhone to confirm the seal. Noise cancellation and bass response both depend on getting this right.
