The right-handed symmetrical shell was refined from the Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition using feedback from Demon1 and other esports pros. ASUS recommends it for claw and fingertip grips, and the slightly lowered hump helps with fine adjustments. The bio-based nylon shell keeps the weight to about 48 g, and grip tape is included.
True 8,000 Hz wireless
ROG SpeedNova 8K delivers a native 8,000 Hz polling rate over 2.4 GHz without a separate polling-rate booster. Zone Mode, turned on with a button combination, switches straight to 8K polling with RGB off for matches. ASUS quotes battery life at 1,000 Hz polling.
AimPoint Pro sensor and optical switches
The 42,000 dpi ROG AimPoint Pro sensor tracks at up to 750 ips and 50 g, and it also works on glass. The main buttons use ROG Optical Micro Switches rated for 100 million clicks.

Gear Link runs in a web browser, so mouse settings can be changed without installing software. Connect by 2.4 GHz with the included receiver and extender, by Bluetooth 5.1, or with the included 2 m ROG Paracord cable.
