Elechid Shipping Policy
We handle deliveries in two ways: TVs and large AV products are delivered and installed by our own team; all other items ship via SF Express.
1. TVs and Large AV Products
Delivery and installation charges
Charges are based on screen size and include both delivery and installation:

Other options:
- Collect in store: free — from our Kwun Tong location during opening hours
- Kerbside delivery — we arrange a van to street level and you carry it up yourself: HK$200
- Outside Hong Kong (Macau, Taiwan and elsewhere): please message us on WhatsApp
Surcharges:
- Walk-up buildings / stairs: HK$100 per floor, no floor limit
- Discovery Bay: additional HK$500
Outlying islands
- Ma Wan: normal delivery, no surcharge
- Discovery Bay: normal delivery, HK$500 surcharge
- Cheung Chau, Lamma Island: we deliver to Central Pier for collection there. Installation is not available in these two areas — please choose a delivery-only option at checkout
Delivery timing
- Orders are normally delivered the next day
- We can't book a specific time slot, but the driver calls you an hour before setting off, so you don't need to wait in all day
- No deliveries on Sundays or public holidays; all other days run as normal
Installation
- Wall mounting includes the bracket — nothing extra to buy, and no add-on charges on installation day
- Cable routing and concealment are not included. If you need it, let us know before you order
- Concrete and brick walls are generally fine. Plasterboard/stud walls depend on the actual structure and may not hold a large set — if your TV wall is a stud wall, let us know on WhatsApp before ordering so we can check first
Old TV disposal
We'll take away your old TV free of charge, for sets that are 40" or larger with a chassis no more than 10 cm thick.
We can't take away sets under 40", sets thicker than 10 cm, or CRT (tube) televisions. Not sure which yours is? Send us a photo from the side on WhatsApp before you order and we'll check.
2. Other Items (SF Express)
Items other than TVs and large AV products ship via SF Express.
- Choose delivery to an address of your choice, or collection from an SF Express point — SF Stores, Service Centres, Smart Lockers, OK convenience stores and 7-Eleven
- If a parcel exceeds the size limit of your chosen pickup point, it will be redirected to the nearest SF Express Service Centre or SF Store. Contact us if you'd like it redelivered instead
- Some products can't be sent to certain pickup points because of size or value limits — we'll let you know if that applies to your order
3. In-Store Collection
- Collect from our store once you receive a collection notification. Please check the address and opening hours before you set off
- Orders can't be collected before the notification is sent
- Please collect within 30 days of the notification. We don't charge storage fees — if you need us to hold it longer, just let us know

4. General Terms
Service coverage
- Industrial, commercial and residential areas across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories
- Outlying islands are handled as set out above
- We can't deliver to locations that aren't accessible by vehicle
- The airport is not currently served — business customers with a requirement there are welcome to contact us to discuss
Weather
Deliveries may be delayed when Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force. We'll contact you to reschedule.
Receiving your order
- Please tell us as early as possible if your delivery address changes
- If nobody is available at the agreed time, we'll reschedule the delivery at no extra charge
- Any parking needed for the delivery is covered by us, not passed on to you
Other
Where an address isn't reachable by vehicle, where we're repeatedly unable to contact the recipient, or where there's a safety risk, we may not be able to complete delivery — we'll contact you to discuss alternatives.
