The R5C is for homes with several EZVIZ cameras that want recordings kept at home rather than only on microSD cards or cloud plans. It records up to 8 cameras around the clock and also works as a small personal cloud for family photos and files.

No. Buy a SATA hard disk of up to 8 TB separately and fit it with the included screwdriver and screws.
