The T2C lets you check from your phone whether a door, window or cabinet is open, and alerts you when it opens. It is a Zigbee 3.0 sensor and only works with an EZVIZ Home Gateway A3, sold separately.

- Needs the EZVIZ A3 gateway: The sensor talks to an EZVIZ Home Gateway A3 over Zigbee 3.0; the gateway is not included and the sensor can't connect to Wi-Fi by itself.

- Peel-and-stick, long battery life: The small sensor and magnet stick on with adhesive, and two coin cells last up to 2 years at 30 detections a day, according to EZVIZ.

FAQ
Will it auto-lock my EZVIZ smart lock?
EZVIZ links auto-locking on its DL50 locks to a Bluetooth version of the T2C. This T2C is the Zigbee version for the A3 gateway, so don't count on it for lock auto-locking.
