The Samsung QN70H 75-inch Neo QLED 4K Smart TV (2026, model QA75QN70HAKXXT) is the design-led set in the 2026 Neo QLED line: Quantum Mini LED backlight, NQ4 AI Processor, Supreme Mini LED Dimming, and a body just 26.6mm deep without the stand, so it sits almost flush on the wall. Priced at HK$11980

This is a parallel-import (international version) set. The warranty is provided by our store — three years of free on-site inspection and repair; replacement parts are quoted separately. The same model is also available at 65 inches for HK$8,980 and 55 inches for HK$6,280.

Read this first: it is not a gaming TV

We would rather you buy the right set than discover this after delivery. Samsung's own spec sheet is unambiguous:

• Native refresh rate is 50Hz. Not 120Hz.
• There are three HDMI ports, and Samsung states "4K 60 Hz (for HDMI 1/2/3)" — every port caps at 4K 60Hz.
• DLG 120Hz means the panel can run 120Hz at 1080p/2K. It buys that scan rate by halving vertical resolution. It is not 4K 120Hz.
• Samsung's gaming spec lists ALLM, HGiG, Game Bar, Game Motion Plus, Dynamic Black EQ, Super Ultra Wide Game View, AI Auto Game Mode and AI Gaming Optimizer — but there is no VRR row on the sheet.

Put plainly: 4K 120Hz, no. 1080p 120Hz, yes. The 120Hz modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X are often 1080p output anyway, so in practice that mode is usable. But if you want 4K 120Hz or 144Hz, this is not your set — and we stock a better fit for less money.

Three 75-inch sets, how to choose

All three are in stock. Every figure below comes from Samsung's official international-version spec sheets:

One thing should jump out of that table: if you game, buy the QN70F 75-inch at HK$9,980. Same 26.6mm body, same AirSlim design, one extra HDMI, all four ports running 4K 144Hz, and VRR listed on the sheet.

If you want the 2026 platform and a high refresh rate, that is the M80H 75-inch at HK$9,980 — but its body is 77mm deep, three times this one.

So who is the QN70H 75-inch for?

This set is built for you if most of the following are true:

• You do not game, or you only use a console for streaming and slower-paced titles
• You mostly watch films, series, sport and streaming
• You are wall-mounting and want a body in the 26.6mm class
• You want the 2026 Tizen platform: Generative Wallpaper, Now Brief, Art Store, Extended PVR, and a full SmartThings Hub / Matter Hub
• You like the Aero Linear centre stand (it also narrows for small units — see Placement below)

What the 2026 platform actually adds

On panel specification the QN70H sits below the QN70F. On software and detail there are real differences, all of them listed by Samsung:

• Color Booster Pro (the QN70F has Color Booster)
• Adaptive Sound+, plus AI Sound Controller and Active Voice Amplifier
• AI Gaming Optimizer, Mini Map Zoom, Super Ultra Wide Game View
• Generative Wallpaper and Now Brief (with voice and user detection)
• Extended PVR and Storage Share
• A full SmartThings Hub / Matter Hub with IoT-sensor functionality, plus Zigbee/Thread module support (dongle sold separately)
• Webcam support (camera sold separately)

One caveat worth stating: Samsung marks Vision AI Companion as available in Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and Singapore. Hong Kong is not on that list. We will not tell you the assistant is guaranteed to work here. The other features above are not affected by that regional limit.

Placement and installation

For a 75-inch 4K screen we suggest a viewing distance of roughly 2.3 to 3.1 metres. Closer and you start to see pixel structure; further and you are not getting the benefit of 4K.

On a unit, the Aero Linear stand in its standard position needs 1253.4mm of width, but it narrows to 349.4mm, so a smaller cabinet still works. Wall mounting uses VESA 400 x 400, and the set sits nearly flush.

Frequently asked questions

Is the QN70H 75-inch a 4K 120Hz TV?

No. Samsung's spec sheet lists a native refresh rate of 50Hz and an HDMI high-frame-rate ceiling of 4K 60Hz. The DLG 120Hz mode works at 1080p/2K and buys that scan rate by halving vertical resolution. For 4K 120Hz or 144Hz, look at the QN70F 75-inch or the M80H 75-inch.

Can I game on it with a PS5 or Xbox Series X?

Yes, within limits. At 4K the ceiling is 60Hz. Console 120Hz modes are frequently 1080p output, which pairs with the DLG 120Hz mode. ALLM, HGiG and Game Bar are all supported. Samsung's sheet does not list VRR, so we will not promise it. If gaming is your main use, we suggest the QN70F instead.

QN70H or QN70F — which should I buy?

It depends on use. For films and streaming, and if you want the 2026 platform and its new features, the QN70H. For gaming, an extra HDMI port, 4K 144Hz and VRR, the QN70F. Both sets are 26.6mm deep, so thinness is not a deciding factor between them.

How far away should I sit from a 75-inch TV?

We suggest 2.3 to 3.1 metres. If your living room is shallower, consider the 65-inch QN70H (2.0 to 2.7 metres) or the 55-inch QN70H (1.7 to 2.3 metres).
