ASUS Cobble turns a spare M.2 SSD into a pocket drive. The pebble-shaped case takes NVMe or SATA drives from 2242 to 2280, installs without tools, connects at up to 10 Gbps over USB-C and is IP55 rated. SSD not included.

- NVMe and SATA, tool-free: It accepts M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs in 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes, up to 4 TB. The Q-Latch and screwless lock cover hold the drive without screws.
- USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x1, up to 10 Gbps: ASUS quotes up to 1,050 MB/s in its test; real speed depends on your SSD, the host port and cable. It works with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, iOS 13 or later and Android OTG devices.
- IP55 and passive cooling: The case is IP55 rated against dust and water splashes, with an aluminium-alloy top cover and internal thermal pad to carry heat away from the SSD.

This is Hong Kong licensed stock, covered by the local distributor's warranty; the period is shown on the warranty card in the box. Brand new. Stock can be viewed at our Kwun Tong showroom by appointment.

Is an SSD included, and will it reach 10 Gbps?
No SSD is included. Up to 10 Gbps needs a USB 10 Gbps (or faster) port and a fast SSD; ASUS notes actual speed varies with the device, files and setup.
