TUF Gaming A2 is a rugged M.2 SSD enclosure for carrying game libraries and large files. It runs at up to 20 Gbps over USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2, takes NVMe or SATA drives, and is IP68 rated and MIL-STD-810H drop tested. SSD not included.
Key features
- Up to 20 Gbps over USB-C: USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 is twice the rated speed of TUF Gaming A1. Full speed needs a Gen 2x2 host port and an NVMe SSD; SATA SSDs top out at 6 Gbps.
- IP68 and drop tested: ASUS rates it IP68 (1.5 m of water for up to 30 minutes) and drop tested it from 1.22 m to MIL-STD-810H. A ribbed silicone-rubber exterior covers the aluminium chassis.
- Dual M.2 interface with Q-Latch: It supports NVMe PCIe and SATA SSDs in 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes up to 4 TB, with a Q-Latch to hold the drive instead of a screw.

This is Hong Kong licensed stock, covered by the local distributor's warranty; the period is shown on the warranty card in the box. Brand new. Stock can be viewed at our Kwun Tong showroom by appointment.

FAQ
Will I always get 20 Gbps?
Only with a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 Gbps) port and a fast NVMe SSD. On a 10 Gbps port it runs at that port's speed, and SATA SSDs are limited to 6 Gbps.
