A single wire-free camera for places without a handy power point, such as a gate, garage, site office or rooftop. It connects straight to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, needs no base station, and records 2.5K event clips to SpotCam's cloud or a microSD card.

- No wiring needed: The built-in rechargeable battery lets you mount it where there's no socket, and it can also run from a 5 V 2 A supply. SpotCam's optional solar panel can top it up.
- Colour night vision: Six infrared LEDs and two white lights give black-and-white or colour footage after dark, with SpotCam quoting a night viewing distance of up to 8 m.
- Flexible mounting, IP66: Use the screw-on bracket or the magnetic base, which also sticks to metal fittings and posts. The IP66 rating suits outdoor use.

Does the Solo 3 need a base station?
No. It connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and is set up over Bluetooth in the SpotCam app. It records event clips rather than continuous video.
