Hisense's RGB Mini LED technology first reached Hong Kong in the 85-inch UR9S; the UR8S brings it down to 55 inches. Instead of blue LEDs behind a colour conversion layer, the backlight uses separate red, green and blue LEDs, which Hisense uses to claim up to 100% BT.2020 colour. Hisense Hong Kong's spec sheet lists a native 180Hz panel, 2,500 nits peak brightness and a 2.1.2-channel, 50W Devialet-tuned sound system for the 55-inch model, behind an Obsidian anti-reflection screen. It is the most capable 55-inch set in the Hisense Hong Kong range.

RGB Mini LED backlight
Each backlight unit carries its own red, green and blue diodes, so colour is produced at the light source instead of being filtered out of blue or white light. The result Hisense claims is wider colour — up to 100% of BT.2020, with Pantone certification — that stays saturated at high brightness. The 55-inch model is listed at 500 nits typical and up to 2,500 nits peak, with the Hi-View AI Engine RGB balancing colour and light across the screen.
Obsidian screen for bright rooms
Hong Kong flats tend to be bright, with big windows and ceiling downlights. The UR8S uses Hisense's Obsidian panel with anti-reflection and glare-free treatment, so blacks hold up in daytime and reflections are less intrusive. Dolby Vision IQ adapts HDR to room light, and IMAX Enhanced certification and Filmmaker Mode are there for film nights.
180Hz, FreeSync Premium Pro and four HDMI 2.1 inputs
The panel refreshes natively at 180Hz, with VRR, ALLM and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. All four HDMI inputs are HDMI 2.1, with eARC on HDMI 3, so a PS5, an Xbox and a gaming PC can all stay connected alongside a soundbar. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 cover the wireless side.
2.1.2 Devialet sound in a slim body
Audio is a 2.1.2-channel, 50W system — two 10W main drivers, two 5W side drivers and a 20W subwoofer — tuned by Devialet with Dolby Atmos. At 55 inches you sit close enough for that layout to fill a bedroom or small living room without a soundbar, and Hi-Concerto can add a compatible Hisense soundbar later. The unibody chassis is 52 mm deep and 15 kg without its stand, straightforward to wall mount.

Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock carrying the manufacturer's Hong Kong warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card supplied with the set. Viewing is by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom.
Delivery and installation are available as paid services and are not included in the product price. For a 55-inch set, delivery with tabletop installation is HK$300, or delivery with wall mounting is HK$600 with the bracket included. Collection at our Kwun Tong shop is free. Walk-up buildings without a lift add HK$100 per floor, with no cap. Discovery Bay adds HK$500. Orders for Cheung Chau and Lamma are delivered to the Central pier for self-collection, with no installation.
