The Sprocket 200 is for people who want real prints of phone photos on the spot: at a party, for a journal, or to stick on a fridge or notebook. It is about the size of a smartphone and prints 2x3-inch photos on ZINK paper, which has the colour built into the sheet, so there are no ink cartridges or ribbons to buy. Every print has a peel-off sticky back. You send photos from the HP Sprocket app over Bluetooth, and one charge gives up to 35 prints.

No ink, sticky-backed prints

The printer uses ZINK Zero Ink technology: heat activates the colour already inside the paper. Each 2x3-inch print has a peel-off adhesive back. The only consumable is HP Sprocket 2x3-inch ZINK paper.

Phone-sized and light

It measures 80 x 117.5 x 25 mm and weighs 172 g, so it fits in a small bag. The built-in battery gives up to 35 prints per charge and recharges in up to 120 minutes.

Print and edit from the HP Sprocket app

Connect over Bluetooth to an iPhone or Android phone, then crop, add frames or stickers and print. Each print takes up to 40 seconds.

Four speckled colours

Choose Lilac, Blush Pink, Luna Pearl (off-white) or Black. All four are the same printer; only the speckled shell colour differs.

FAQ

What paper does it use, and does it need ink?

It uses HP Sprocket 2x3-inch ZINK photo paper and needs no ink, toner or ribbon. The paper is a consumable, so you'll need refill packs as you print.

How do I connect it to my phone?

Install the free HP Sprocket app on your iPhone or Android phone and pair the printer over Bluetooth. You then edit and print from the app.

What is in the box, and how is it charged?

HP's US licensee lists the printer, a Micro-USB charging cable and some ZINK photo paper; the number of starter sheets isn't stated. It charges over Micro-USB in up to 120 minutes.
