Charmera Millennium is a tiny Kodak-branded digital camera that clips onto a bag like a charm, made for casual snaps with a Y2K look rather than serious photography. It takes 1.6 MP photos and records video to a microSD card, with date stamps, retro frames and pixel-style filters built in. It is sold as a blind box: each box holds one design picked at random from seven, including one secret chrome edition, and you only find out which when you open it.

A blind box, not a pick-your-colour product
The Millennium series has seven designs, one of them a secret edition with a liquid-metal chrome finish. Each single box contains one design at random. The maker's published odds are 1 in 6 for each basic style and 1 in 48 for the secret edition, and it states that no specific style can be guaranteed.
Photos and video on a keyring
A 1/4-inch sensor and 35mm F2.4 lens produce 1440 x 1080 JPEG photos, and video is saved as AVI at 30 fps. At 30 g it hangs from a bag strap with the included keyring.
Retro frames and pixel filters
Photo mode adds a date stamp, four Millennium-themed frames (sticker, TV, recording and video player) and seven filters, including black and white, cool and warm tones and four coloured pixel filters.
microSD storage and USB-C
Files are stored on a microSD card of 1 GB to 128 GB, which you need to buy separately. The rechargeable 200 mAh battery charges over the included USB-C cable, which also transfers photos to your computer or device.
