The Dock ERA is for households that want proper 4x6-inch photos for albums, frames and ID-photo sheets without a trip to the photo shop. Stand your phone on the dock to print and charge at the same time, or send photos over Bluetooth from the Kodak Photo Printer app. Kodak's 4PASS process lays down three colours and a clear protective coat, so each postcard-size print is dry and ready to handle as soon as it comes out, about a minute later.

Two ways to print
Dock your phone on the USB-C connector to print and charge it at the same time, or print wirelessly over Bluetooth. A Lightning adapter is included for older iPhones.
Standard 4x6-inch photos
Prints are 100 x 150 mm, the usual size for photo albums and frames, at 300 x 300 dpi. You can print with or without a white border.
4PASS with a protective coat
Yellow, magenta and cyan are printed in turn, then a clear laminate is applied; Kodak shows about 55 seconds per print. The coating helps resist fingerprints and splashes.
ID photos and collages in the app
The Kodak Photo Printer app (iOS and Android) includes filters, frames, cropping and collage layouts, and Kodak shows it laying out multiple ID-size photos on one sheet.

FAQ
Which refill does it use, and how many prints do I get?
It uses the Kodak PHC-80 pack: 80 sheets of 4x6-inch paper and 2 colour cartridges, each good for 40 prints. The box includes a starter cartridge and 10 sheets. instax film and ZINK paper don't fit.
Will my iPhone fit the dock?
Phones with USB-C dock directly, and a Lightning adapter is included for older iPhones. You can also skip the dock and print over Bluetooth from the Kodak Photo Printer app on iOS or Android.
Does it have a battery?
Kodak doesn't list a battery; it is powered by the mains adapter shown in the box contents. Plan to use it near a power socket.
