The Mini 3 ERA is a pocket printer for the photos already on your phone. Pair it over Bluetooth, pick a picture in the Kodak Photo Printer app, add a frame or filter if you like, and a 3x3-inch square print comes out a little under a minute later. There is no camera built in, which keeps it small and simple. Kodak's 4PASS process prints three colour layers and then a clear protective coat, so photos are dry and ready to stick in a journal straight away.

Square prints from your phone

Prints are 3 x 3 inches (76 x 76 mm), a good size for journals, walls and photo albums. You can choose bordered or borderless output.

4PASS dye-sublimation with a laminate

The printer applies yellow, magenta and cyan one layer at a time and finishes with a clear laminate; Kodak shows each print taking about 55 seconds. There's no developing wait, and the coating helps resist fingerprints and splashes.

Kodak Photo Printer app

The app for iOS and Android connects over Bluetooth and adds filters, frames, cropping, colour adjustment and collage layouts. It can also open your phone camera to shoot and print.

Drop-in cartridge

Paper and colour ribbon sit together in one ICRG-330 cartridge, so reloading is a single click-in step with no separate ink to fit.

FAQ

Which paper does it use? Will instax film or ZINK work?

Only the Kodak ICRG-330 3x3-inch cartridge, which combines paper and ribbon; each cartridge prints 10 photos. instax film and ZINK paper are different systems and don't fit.

Does it work with iPhone and Android?

Yes. Install the Kodak Photo Printer app from the App Store or Google Play and pair over Bluetooth. The printer has no screen or camera, so the app is needed for every print.

What's in the box and how is it powered?

Kodak lists the printer, an 8-sheet starter cartridge and a user guide; one official image also shows a strap. It has a built-in rechargeable battery charged via USB-C, and Kodak's images disagree on whether a cable is included.
