The Mini Shot 3 ERA is for people who like the fun of an instant camera but hate wasting prints on blurry shots. You take the photo, check it on the 1.77-inch screen and print only the ones you want, or cancel and reshoot. It doubles as a Bluetooth printer for your phone gallery through the Kodak Photo Printer app. Prints come out as 3x3-inch squares using Kodak's 4PASS process, where yellow, magenta and cyan are applied in turn and finished with a clear protective layer.

Preview first, then print
Every shot appears on the 1.77-inch LCD before anything is printed. If it's blurry or someone blinked, cancel and take it again, so the cartridge is only used on photos you actually want.
4PASS prints with a protective layer
The printer lays down yellow, magenta and cyan, then a clear laminate, which Kodak shows taking about 55 seconds per photo. The finished print is dry straight away and the laminate helps resist fingerprints and splashes. You can choose bordered or borderless output.
Also a phone printer
Pair it over Bluetooth with the Kodak Photo Printer app on iOS or Android to print from your phone gallery. The app adds filters, frames, cropping, adjustments and collages before you print.
Auto focus and face detection
The 13MP camera focuses automatically from 30 cm, and face detection brightens faces in selfies. Flash can be set to on, off or auto, with white balance and exposure handled automatically.

FAQ
Which refill does it use, and can I use instax film?
It uses the Kodak ICRG-330 3x3-inch cartridge, which holds the paper and colour ribbon together; each cartridge prints 10 photos. Fujifilm instax film and ZINK paper do not fit.
Do I need the app?
Not for camera mode: shoot, check the screen and print. To print from your phone, install the Kodak Photo Printer app (iOS or Android) and connect by Bluetooth.
What comes in the box and how is it charged?
Kodak lists the camera, a starter cartridge with 8 sheets and a user guide; a wrist strap is shown in some official images. It charges over USB-C, and whether a cable is included differs between Kodak's images, so please check with us.
