Relatives install the KODAK Classic Frame app, pair it with the frame, and send photos and short videos over Wi-Fi from wherever they are; a notice pops up on the frame when something new arrives. The 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen runs at 1280 x 800, and the grey weathered wood-grain frame looks like an ordinary picture frame on a shelf. It also shows the weather, a clock and a calendar.

Kodak's European site names KODAK Classic Frame as the app for this model, available for iOS and Android. Several family members can bind their phones to one frame, and email transfer also works. The frame shows a notification when a new photo or video arrives.
Simple touchscreen
The 10.1-inch IPS panel is 1280 x 800 in a 16:10 shape, and everything is done by tapping large on-screen menus. Brightness is adjustable, and a timed sleep schedule turns the screen off at night.
Stand, portrait or wall
The rotating stand holds it in landscape or portrait, and a gravity sensor turns photos to match. Keyhole slots on the back let you hang it on the wall instead.
Weather, clock and music
Connected to the internet, it shows local weather, date and time and can act as an alarm clock. It also plays videos and music, and can add background music to a slideshow.
