RCF-1029 is for households that want one screen on the sideboard to show family photos and keep everyone's schedule in view. It is a 10.1-inch Wi-Fi frame with a real wood surround and three modes: cloud photo frame, family calendar and art gallery. Photos and short videos arrive from family members' phones through the app or by email, and the calendar mode can sync accounts such as Google, iCloud and Outlook. A built-in 4000 mAh battery charged over USB-C lets you move it from room to room without a cable trailing behind.

Photos from anywhere, straight to the frame
Family members send photos, music and videos to the frame over the internet using the app or email, so grandparents can see new pictures without touching a phone. Basco lists video clips of up to 120 seconds, and the frame plays background music during a slideshow through its two 2 W speakers.
A shared family calendar
Calendar mode syncs several family members' calendars, with Google, iCloud and Outlook named by Basco and Yahoo, Cozi and TeamSnap also shown in its product material. Everyone's appointments appear on one screen, alongside to-do lists and plans. Date, time and weather update over the network, and the frame can also act as an alarm clock.
Real wood frame with a built-in battery
The surround is real wood with a white mat, so it looks like a normal picture frame on a shelf. The 4000 mAh battery charges over USB-C, and the rotating stand plus auto-rotate lets you stand it in landscape or portrait.
Art gallery mode and plenty of storage
When you are not viewing family photos, gallery mode shows paintings and artworks; Basco's material mentions a library of over 2,000 pieces. There is 32 GB of built-in storage, and you can add a microSD card or USB drive of up to 128 GB (NTFS format).

Which calendars can it show?
Basco lists Google, iCloud and Outlook, with support for several family members' accounts. Its product images also show Yahoo, Cozi and TeamSnap.
Does it have to stay plugged in?
No. It has a built-in 4000 mAh battery that charges over USB-C. The running time on battery is not published, so plan to charge it regularly or keep it plugged in for all-day display.
Can I use a memory card or USB drive?
Yes. Besides 32 GB of built-in storage, it accepts a microSD card or USB drive of up to 128 GB. Basco notes the drive should be NTFS formatted.
