WF-173V is a large digital frame meant to hang on the wall like a real picture, so the whole family can see new photos from across the room. The 17.3-inch Full HD IPS panel has an anti-glare matte finish, and the frame can hang in portrait or landscape, with a gravity sensor that turns the picture to match. Family members send photos, music and short videos from their phones through the Kodak app or by email. It comes with a wall-mount kit and an infrared remote, and a motion sensor wakes the screen when someone walks past.

A 17.3-inch screen made for the wall
The Full HD 1920 x 1080 IPS panel has a 16:9 shape, a matte anti-glare surface and, per Kodak's product images, a 178-degree viewing angle. You can hang it upright or sideways, and the built-in gravity sensor rotates the picture to suit.
Send photos from any family member's phone
Several phones can be linked to the same frame, so relatives can send photos, music and videos (up to 120 seconds per clip, per Basco) through the app or by email. Basco states that cloud transfers are unlimited. Photos can also be loaded from a microSD card or USB drive.
Remote control and motion sensor
This is not a touchscreen frame: an infrared remote handles volume, photo rotation and power, which suits a frame mounted out of reach. The built-in motion sensor turns the screen on when it detects movement and switches to power-saving mode after 10 minutes without motion.
More than a photo frame
Besides slideshows, it plays videos and music through two 3 W speakers, and shows a clock, calendar and weather forecast updated over the network. You can also set alarms.

FAQ
Is it a touchscreen?
No. It is operated with the included infrared remote, which handles volume, photo rotation and power. Photos are sent from phones through the app or by email.
Can it stand on a table, or does it have to hang?
It is designed as a wall frame and comes with a wall-mount kit; no table stand is listed. It can hang in portrait or landscape. Please check your wall type before mounting, as installation is not included.
How much storage does it have?
Basco lists 32 GB built in, and you can add a microSD card or USB drive of up to 256 GB in NTFS format.
