The Step Touch suits someone who wants a real little camera, not just a printer, with instant sticker prints on the side. It takes 13MP photos and 1080p video, and the 3.5-inch touchscreen lets you review, edit and add borders or stickers before printing. The built-in printer uses Kodak ZINK paper: the colour is in the paper itself and is brought out by heat, so there is no ink or ribbon to replace. Each print is 2x3 inches with a peel-off sticky back.
Key features
Camera, video and printer in one
Shoot 13MP stills or video in 1080p, 720p or VGA with sound. There's a pop-up flash, a selfie mirror, a 10-second self-timer, burst shooting and a photobooth mode that combines several shots in one layout.
Edit on the 3.5-inch touchscreen
Review shots, crop, rotate and add borders or stickers on the camera itself, then tap print. Auto Print can print every shot straight away, and you can queue up to ten prints at a time.
ZINK: no ink, no cartridge
ZINK paper carries its colour inside the sheet and the printer develops it with heat, so the only refill is Kodak 2x3-inch ZINK paper. It works differently from instax film and from Kodak's 4PASS cartridges, and they are not interchangeable.
Phone printing and microSD storage
Pair with the KODAK STEP Prints app over Bluetooth to print phone photos and use extra stickers, borders, text and drawing tools. Internal memory holds about 10 photos, so add a microSD card (up to 256GB) to keep more.
