Buds Pro 3 are the most fully specified true wireless earbuds OnePlus currently makes, tuned in collaboration with Dynaudio. The woofer is a dual-magnet dynamic driver with a 30-layer ceramic-metal diaphragm, while the tweeter uses a planar voice coil on a flat diaphragm. Beyond sound, they fill in the details the cheaper model leaves out: wireless charging, a bone-conduction microphone and head-tracked spatial audio.

Dual drivers with Dynaudio tuning
The 11 mm woofer uses a dual-magnet arrangement with a 30-layer ceramic-metal composite diaphragm, and the 6 mm tweeter uses a planar voice coil with a flat diaphragm. Each driver has its own bespoke-tuned DAC rather than sharing one. The overall voicing was developed with Danish speaker maker Dynaudio, and frequency response runs from 10 Hz to 40 kHz with sensitivity of 97 ± 3 dB at 1 kHz.
50 dB adaptive ANC and bone-conduction pickup
Active noise cancellation is adaptive and rated up to 50 dB, adjusting its strength to the environment. For voice pickup there are three microphones per side plus a VPU bone-conduction sensor, working with the AI Clear Call algorithm to separate your voice from wind and street noise. OnePlus rates voice cancelling as twice as effective as on the Pro 2.
Battery, wireless charging and runtime
On AAC with ANC off the buds run 10 hours and 43 hours with the case; with ANC on that becomes 6 hours and 25.5 hours; on LHDC with ANC on it is 5 hours and 21.5 hours. Talk time on AAC with ANC on is 4 hours, or 17 hours with the case, and standby with the case is 70 hours. Wired charging takes about 70 minutes, wireless charging about 2 hours 30 minutes, and reverse wireless charging from a OnePlus 12 is supported.
Connection, latency and extras
Bluetooth 5.4 with Steady Connect gives 10 m of effective range, with dual-device connection and Google Fast Pair. Codecs are LHDC 5.0, AAC and SBC. Game mode latency drops as low as 94 ms with selected OnePlus handsets. Elsewhere you get spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, Golden Sound hearing personalisation, AI Translation, Find My for lost earbuds and posture reminders from the built-in IMU sensors. Dust and water protection is IP55.

FAQ
Why is the ANC figure lower than the Buds 4? The two models use different cancellation algorithms and driver designs, so the headline number is not a straight ranking of what you will hear. Pro 3 is rated at 50 dB and Buds 4 at 55 dB, but only the Pro 3 has the bone-conduction microphone and Dynaudio tuning. Choose based on whether calls or raw cancellation matters more to you.
Does the case really charge wirelessly? Yes. On a wireless pad a full charge takes about 2 hours 30 minutes, against roughly 70 minutes over the cable. You can also place the case on a OnePlus 12 and use reverse wireless charging, which is useful for a quick top-up when you are out.
What ear tip sizes are included? Four sizes ship in the box — XS, S, M and L — with M pre-installed. Tip fit directly affects both cancellation and bass, so try each size, and after inserting a bud tug gently on your outer ear to check for looseness. If your ears differ in size, using two different tip sizes is perfectly normal.
