The XSound Go is an everyday speaker for the desk, the kitchen or a day at the beach, and this BTS38 version moves it to Bluetooth 5.3. Two 40 mm drivers at 8W each work with a passive radiator for 16W of stereo sound. Tribit rates the two 2000mAh cells at up to 24 hours at 60% volume, and the IPX7 body handles rain and splashes. It weighs 380 g, has a carry strap, connects to two devices at once and can pair with a second XSound Go for stereo.
Key features
16W stereo with a passive radiator
Two 40 mm drivers rated at 8W each sit either side of a passive radiator, giving 16W of stereo output with a frequency response of 80Hz to 20kHz. It is sized for a bedroom, kitchen or picnic mat rather than a large party.
IPX7 and easy to carry
The IPX7 rating means it copes with splashes, rain and brief submersion, so the shower, poolside or beach is fine. At 175 x 59 x 56 mm and 380 g it slips into a backpack, and the attached strap makes it easy to hang up.
Up to 24 hours at 60% volume
Two 2000mAh cells give up to 24 hours at 60% volume, according to the user manual. The red light blinks when the battery drops below 20%, stays on while charging, and turns off when full, which takes about 4 hours.
Two devices, stereo pairing and call controls
Bluetooth 5.3 reaches up to 100 ft and keeps two devices connected at the same time. Two XSound Go speakers can pair in stereo, and the play button answers or ends calls and holds to wake your voice assistant.
