StormBox Blast 2 is the speaker to bring when the gathering is outdoors and someone is going to want to sing. Tribit pairs an 80 W subwoofer with two 45 W mid-range drivers and two 15 W silk-dome tweeters for 200 W on mains power, or 180 W on battery. Two 6.35 mm mic inputs with their own volume knobs and a reverb control handle karaoke, the 79.92 Wh battery runs up to 30 hours at 50% volume with XBass and lights off, and the body is rated IP67.
Key features
200 W from a five-driver layout
An 80 W subwoofer with diamond-shaped reinforcing ribs, two 45 W mid-range drivers and two 15 W silk-dome tweeters are driven by dual TI amplifiers, with two large passive radiators adding bass. Output is 200 W on AC power and 180 W on battery. XBass can be switched on from the top panel, and Tribit's X-3D sound effect is enabled in the Tribit app.
Karaoke ready, microphones not included
The rear panel has two 6.35 mm microphone inputs, each with its own volume knob, plus a reverb knob and an AUX input. Tribit says both wired and wireless microphones are supported, but no microphone comes with the speaker. Keep mics from pointing straight at the speaker at high volume to avoid feedback.
30-hour battery with AC and USB-C charging
The 79.92 Wh battery lasts up to 30 hours at 50% volume with XBass and lights off. AC charging takes about 5 hours and USB-C about 12 hours. A USB-A port charges a phone when the speaker is on and its battery is above 20%.
Lights, pairing and IP67
Light bars can follow the music or be set to a chosen colour in the Tribit app. Two speakers can run in Stereo mode, split into left and right, or Party mode, playing the same audio. The body is rated IP67 once the rubber cover on the back is closed tightly.

FAQ
Are microphones included?
No. Use microphones with a 6.35 mm plug in the two rear inputs; each has its own volume knob and there is a shared reverb control.
Why does it sound bigger when plugged in?
Output is 200 W on AC power versus 180 W on battery. AC also charges much faster: about 5 hours compared with about 12 hours over USB-C.
Can I use it next to the pool?
It is rated IP67, provided the rubber cover on the back is closed tightly. Keep the charging port and cable completely dry when charging.
