LG 86-Inch Micro RGB evo AI MRGB95 4K Smart TV 2026 (International Version) Overview
The MRGB95 is the 86-inch member of LG's 2026 Micro RGB flagship line: a backlight of red, green and blue LEDs, certified by Intertek for 100% coverage of BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB - filling BT.2020, the standard cinema is mastered against, for the first time on an LCD TV. 86 inches is the sweet-spot ceiling for big screens: fully cinematic, without the 100-inch class logistics.
One thing said plainly upfront: the panel is native 120Hz. The "Motion Booster 330" on the sheet is a motion-enhancement mode, not a 330Hz panel - the gaming section below lists the official rows one by one.

Micro RGB: Triple 100% Colour, a First for LCD
Ordinary Mini LED makes white light from blue LEDs and quantum dots; LG's Mini RGB series turns the backlight into three-colour LEDs for double 100% certification. Micro RGB uses smaller three-colour LEDs under denser control and certifies all three standards at 100% - including BT.2020, which even many OLEDs cannot fill - certified by Intertek per IDMS v1.2. Dimming is Micro Dimming Ultra; LG's newsroom states more than a thousand dimming zones, driven by the Alpha 11 Gen3 dual AI engine.

Gaming: the Official Rows, As Written
The official sheet splits it into three rows: native 120Hz panel; VRR up to 165Hz; all four HDMI ports supporting 4K 120Hz, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QMS and QFT. PS5 and Xbox Series X run their full 4K 120Hz on any port; 165Hz is the VRR ceiling as LG writes it. As for "Motion Booster 330" - the 330 is a motion-enhancement label, not a 330Hz panel, and we say so plainly. Dolby Vision + Atmos, 40W 2.2-Channel Audio
Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG are supported, with Dynamic Tone Mapping Ultra adjusting scene by scene. The built-in system is 40W 2.2-channel with a woofer pair and the Alpha 11 AI Sound Pro virtual 11.1.2 up-mix - more than respectable for a TV, though an 86-inch picture deserves a proper sound system.

Delivery and installation: 86-inch follows the 85-inch rate: delivery with tabletop setup $800, or $1,500 with wall mounting (bracket included); free pickup at our Kwun Tong shop, which is collection-only with no demo units and no side-by-side viewing. Warranty: international-version TVs carry a 10-day exchange plus 3-year on-site warranty (inspection and repair labour free; parts quoted first, work proceeds after you confirm) - terms on the warranty policy page. Local channels: Hong Kong licensed sets list DTMB on their spec sheets while international versions list DVB-T2 - they differ.
