What Is Micro RGB Technology?
LED/Mini LED describes LCD backlighting. Light-source and colour-conversion designs vary by model; conventional TVs do not all use one identical white-light scheme.
Micro RGB describes red, green and blue backlight sources. This is separate from LCD pixel modulation and colour filtering; it does not mean the whole display has no filters.
Gamut coverage and colour volume are different measures, and BT.2020/DCI-P3 are different targets. Confirm metric names, luminance range and measurement conditions before comparing.
Do not rank a BT.2020 colour-volume percentage against another model’s DCI-P3 gamut coverage. Comparable results need matching modes and definitions.
A wider gamut alone does not prove better brightness, black levels, accuracy or shadow detail; assess each separately.

The R95H listing names up to 165Hz and Glare Free; R85H lists up to 144Hz, with Glare Free requiring full-SKU confirmation. These labels do not prove identical panels, equivalent colour performance or a price gap.
Unlisted does not mean absent. If a feature matters to the purchase, obtain matching full-SKU official confirmation instead of inferring from a blank.
Reflections: assess the room and windows
Window direction, off-axis seating and picture mode affect daylight viewing; shadow visibility is not uniformly lost in Hong Kong rooms.
R95H’s Glare Free label is a starting point for reflection information, not a guarantee that all window reflections vanish. Its importance versus refresh depends on your video and PC use.
An unlisted Glare Free label on R85H does not mean no reflection treatment; confirm the supplied SKU’s official information.
Gaming
R95H lists up to 165Hz. Before buying, confirm native refresh, maximum 4K input, VRR, ALLM and each HDMI input separately.
R85H65 inches lists up to 144Hz; confirm PC modes, console 4K120 and the intended sockets for the full SKU.
Do not transfer every 65-inch detail to R85H55 inches. Confirm VRR, ALLM and HDMI routes per SKU; omission is not non-support.
Console 4K120 and PC165Hz are different use cases; games and settings also limit actual frame rate. The 144/165 gap alone does not prove equal or different console performance.
For HGiG or a particular HDR calibration workflow, confirm the SKU and game/console combination; an omitted product-page term is not non-support.

Micro RGB vs OLED
OLED is self-emissive — every pixel can switch off completely, so black is genuinely black. Micro RGB cannot match that; anything with a backlight has a floor.
Micro RGB remains an LCD route. Compare brightness, dimming and colour separately; colour-volume marketing alone does not establish better daylight viewing.
For dark scenes, consider OLED black levels. In bright rooms, compare actual reflections and brightness rather than choosing by panel name alone.

Micro RGB vs Mini LED
Mini LED describes backlight emitter size; Neo QLED is Samsung’s quantum-dot LCD/Mini LED family. Zones and dimming remain model-specific.
Micro RGB and Mini LED names emphasise different aspects, not a simple white-light/filter-free binary. Check source design, colour conversion, LCD panel and dimming by full model.
Compare QN90F and Micro RGB at the same size, use and actual quote; unconfirmed prices or tier alone do not decide picture quality.

The linked choices are R95H65 inches, R85H65 inches and R85H55 inches, not a worldwide 55/65-inch limit for Micro RGB.
