The Samsung S90F 65-inch OLED 4K Smart TV is Samsung's 2025 mainstream OLED — self-illuminating pixels for true blacks and effectively infinite contrast, a 120Hz panel that takes games to 4K 144Hz over HDMI 2.1, Dolby Atmos audio, and the Tizen platform with Samsung Vision AI.

At 65 inches it suits a viewing distance of roughly 2.0 to 2.7 metres, which describes most Hong Kong living rooms.

True OLED picture

Every one of the S90F's 8.29 million pixels makes its own light and can switch off completely. When a pixel shows black, it is off — absolute black, with no glow and no halo around bright objects. No LED, QLED or Mini LED television can do this, because they shine a backlight through the panel and some light always escapes into the dark areas.

What you notice: starfields, night scenes, letterbox bars, dark interiors. If you watch films in the evening with the lights down, this is the largest single picture upgrade available.

OLED HDR+ and HDR10+

The S90F supports OLED HDR+ and HDR10+, which adjust brightness and colour scene by scene rather than applying one fixed setting to a whole film. Highlights keep their impact and shadows keep their detail.

Like every Samsung TV, the S90F does not support Dolby Vision — it uses HDR10+ instead. As of 2026 every major streaming service supports HDR10+, so for streaming this makes little practical difference. Dolby Vision matters mainly if you buy 4K Blu-ray discs or use an Apple TV 4K box.

NQ4 AI Gen3 processor

The NQ4 AI Gen3 analyses each frame with multiple neural networks and reconstructs detail in lower-resolution material.

This matters more in Hong Kong than the spec sheet suggests. Local free-to-air digital terrestrial television is 1080i, not 4K, and streaming is compressed. Most of what you actually watch is not native 4K — so how well a television upscales affects your daily picture more often than the panel does.

Gaming: 4K 144Hz on all four HDMI ports

OLED's near-instant pixel response means essentially no motion smearing. On top of that:

  • 4K 144Hz — a 120Hz panel with Motion Xcelerator taking games to 144Hz over HDMI 2.1
  • VRR and FreeSync Premium Pro — no screen tearing, less stutter
  • ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) — switches to low latency automatically when a console wakes
  • Game Bar — check frame rate and latency, switch to Ultra Wide Game View (21:9 / 32:9) mid-game
  • Four HDMI 2.1 ports, all capable — a PS5, an Xbox Series X, a gaming PC and a soundbar can all stay connected

Note that all four HDMI ports are full HDMI 2.1. Many televisions at this price give you one or two, and the rest are limited. Browse more high-refresh options in gaming TVs.

Sound: 40W, Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony

A 40W 2.1-channel system with Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite, which moves the sound to follow on-screen action.

If you are spending this much on the picture, budget for a soundbar too. The S90F's Q-Symphony is the reason: with a compatible Samsung soundbar connected it does not mute the TV speakers — it plays both together, using the TV's drivers to widen and lift the soundstage. Most televisions simply switch themselves off. Connect over HDMI eARC and Dolby Atmos passes through intact.

Tizen, Samsung Vision AI and SmartThings

Fast, clean navigation with all the streaming services used in Hong Kong — Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Apple TV+, Prime Video — plus Samsung TV Plus free live channels with no subscription.

Voice control through Bixby, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. SmartThings lets the TV act as a smart-home hub for compatible devices. Screen mirroring works from phones, tablets and laptops.

LaserSlim design

OLED panels need no backlight layer, so the S90F is exceptionally thin with bezels that all but disappear once the screen is on. Wall-mount it flush or place it on a cabinet — at 65 inches and 1444 mm wide it fits most Hong Kong living-room walls.

Is 65 inch the right size for your room?

65 inch suits a viewing distance of about 2.0 to 2.7 metres — the majority of Hong Kong flats.

  • Sitting closer than 2 m? A smaller screen will be more comfortable — see our Samsung S85F 55" OLED
  • Sitting 2.5 m or further back in a large room? Consider the S90F 77 inch
  • Room facing a big window with strong daylight? OLED is not always the answer — Neo QLED goes brighter

Warranty and delivery

This is an international-version set — not local agent stock. The warranty is provided by Elechid, not Samsung Hong Kong.

Our policy, stated exactly: free on-site inspection and repair within three years; if parts need replacing, that is quoted separately.

⚠ On a 65-inch OLED, on-site is the part that matters — a technician comes to you rather than the panel being moved out of your flat. Full terms, delivery and installation charges are in the FAQ. Wall mounting is quoted separately.

Our Kwun Tong showroom holds stock, and you can arrange to see a set in person. Not sure whether 65 inch is right for your room? WhatsApp us with your sofa distance and we will tell you straight.

Frequently asked questions

What processor does the Samsung S90F use?

The NQ4 AI Gen3 — Samsung's 2025 4K AI processor, with AI upscaling that reconstructs detail in lower-resolution content.

Is the Samsung S90F really 144Hz?

The panel is 120Hz, and Motion Xcelerator takes it to 144Hz in game mode over HDMI 2.1. All four HDMI ports support 4K 144Hz and eARC, so you do not have to hunt for the "right" port.

Does the Samsung S90F support Dolby Vision?

No. Like every Samsung TV it uses HDR10+ and OLED HDR+ instead. As of 2026 every major streaming service supports HDR10+, so for streaming the difference is small. Dolby Vision matters mainly for 4K Blu-ray discs and the Apple TV 4K box.

Is 65 inch right for a Hong Kong living room?

For a viewing distance of about 2.0 to 2.7 metres, yes — that covers most flats. Closer than 2 m, consider 55 inch; 2.5 m or further in a large room, consider 77 inch.

What warranty comes with it?

This is an international-version set and the warranty is provided by Elechid: free on-site inspection and repair within three years, with parts quoted separately if replacement is needed. Full terms are in the FAQ.
