Samsung 55-inch Micro RGB R85H 4K Smart TV (International Version)
One thing to clear up first, because the name invites confusion: Micro RGB is not Micro LED. This is an LCD television. What changes is the backlight — instead of blue LEDs passing through a phosphor or quantum-dot layer, it uses separate red, green and blue LEDs that emit the three primaries directly. That is how Samsung gets to its official 100% BT.2020 colour area figure, and it is the R85H's most concrete selling point. 55 inches is the smallest size in the Micro RGB line. Its reason to exist is simple: you want the RGB backlight technology and your room will not take a 65.

What a three-colour backlight actually changes
Ordinary LED and Mini LED televisions both start from blue LEDs. A quantum-dot or phosphor layer turns that into white, and a colour filter splits it back into red, green and blue. Every conversion costs some purity. Micro RGB begins with the three primaries at the backlight, so the filter has far less to do — which is how the gamut reaches 100% of BT.2020, the broadcast-grade standard.

Gaming: all four ports at 144Hz
Native 144Hz, and all four HDMI 2.1 inputs carry 4K 144Hz — not "two of them". A PS5, an Xbox Series X and a PC can stay plugged in without fighting over a port. VRR plus FreeSync Premium Pro, and Game Bar for live frame-rate and latency readouts. 1080p signals can run at 240Hz, which competitive titles make use of.
HDR: HDR10+, no Dolby Vision
This is true of Samsung's whole range and the R85H is no exception. Titles flagged as Dolby Vision on Netflix or Disney+ play in HDR10 or HDR10+ on this set — they still play, just in a different format. Sound: 30W stereo, complete it with a soundbar
30W in 2.0 channels is fine for news and everyday viewing. For films, a picture at this level deserves a soundbar — Samsung's own bars use Q-Symphony to play alongside the TV speakers rather than replace them. The soundbar collection has options.
International version: warranty and channel reception, plainly
This is an international version: covered by our warranty policy — 10-day faulty exchange plus 3 years of on-site warranty (on-site labour free; parts quoted for your approval first). On reception, plainly: the broadcast standard listed on international spec sheets differs from Hong Kong's DTMB, so our technician tests aerial reception during installation. Delivery and installation
Delivery within Hong Kong. Installation is a paid service charged by size — 55-inch tabletop and wall-mount rates, and walk-up building arrangements, are in the FAQ. Wall mounting uses VESA 300 × 200. The Kwun Tong showroom holds stock for viewing by appointment; it is a stockroom, not a demo room.
Frequently asked questions
Is Micro RGB the same as Micro LED?
No. Micro LED is self-emissive — each LED is a pixel, no backlight. Micro RGB is an LCD with a three-colour LED backlight. The two are several times apart in price.
Micro RGB or Neo QLED — which is better?
