The Z570SP is where Toshiba's 2026 Hong Kong range crosses into proper gaming hardware. The panel is native 144Hz — an actual panel refresh rate, not a motion-processing figure — with variable refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium on top, sitting behind a quantum-dot layer with full-array local dimming. It reached Hong Kong in July 2026. Do not confuse it with the Z670SP, a different set with a Mini LED backlight.
Key features
Native 144Hz with VRR and FreeSync Premium
144Hz is the panel's real refresh rate, so a PS5 or Xbox Series X outputting 120Hz is displayed at that rate rather than halved. Variable refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium synchronise the panel to the source frame rate, removing tearing without the input lag V-Sync adds. Game Mode Pro collects the low-latency settings in one place.
QLED with full-array local dimming
The backlight is divided into independently controlled zones behind a quantum-dot panel. That gives the Z570SP noticeably better black levels than the 60Hz M-series sets, particularly in dark-room viewing where a uniformly lit backlight shows its grey floor. It is a direct-lit LED backlight, not Mini LED — the Z670SP is the Mini LED model here.
REGZA Engine ZR with Dolby Vision IQ
Toshiba's REGZA Engine ZR AI processor handles upscaling, motion and HDR tone mapping. HDR support covers Dolby Vision IQ, which adapts tone mapping to the light in your room, plus HDR10+ and HLG for broadcast HDR.
Dolby Atmos with a built-in subwoofer
The Z570SP carries a built-in subwoofer alongside its main drivers and decodes Dolby Atmos. That is a real difference from the M450SK's two-channel array — there is low-end available before you add a soundbar, which matters for a wall-mounted set with nowhere to put one.

Who it's for
- PS5, Xbox Series X and gaming PC owners who want the full 120Hz or 144Hz signal accepted rather than dropped to 60Hz.
- Households wanting one set for gaming and film, since local dimming and Dolby Vision IQ cover the cinema side properly.
- Wall-mount installations where a soundbar is awkward — the built-in subwoofer gives the set usable bass on its own.
- Not for buyers who watch only broadcast and streaming drama. Nothing on Hong Kong free-to-air or Netflix is delivered above 60Hz, so the M450SK or M550SK covers that use.
Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock carrying the manufacturer's Hong Kong warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card supplied with the set. Viewing is available by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom.
Delivery with tabletop installation is HK$300, or delivery with wall mounting is HK$600 with the bracket included. Collection at the Kwun Tong shop is free. Walk-up buildings add HK$100 per floor with no cap. Discovery Bay adds HK$500. Cheung Chau and Lamma are delivered to the Central pier for self-collection, with no installation.
Frequently asked questions
Is 144Hz the real panel refresh rate or a marketing number? It is the panel's native refresh rate. Toshiba states it as native 144Hz, which is a different kind of figure from the HSR or motion-rate numbers quoted on 60Hz sets such as the M550NK. A 120Hz console output is displayed at 120Hz here.
What is the difference between the Z570SP and the Z670SP? The backlight. The Z570SP uses a direct-lit LED backlight with full-array local dimming behind a quantum-dot panel; the Z670SP uses a QD-Mini LED backlight, packing far smaller LEDs into many more zones for tighter highlight control. Both are native 144Hz with VRR and FreeSync Premium.
Will my PS5 switch to game mode automatically? Yes. The set supports ALLM, so when the console starts a game the television switches into low-latency mode and switches back for video apps. Game Mode Pro holds the remaining gaming settings, including the FreeSync Premium controls.
