Decoding Samsung's Names

Samsung marks the year in the letters: DU means 2024, a trailing F means 2025, a trailing H means 2026 - so the U8000H is the newest generation, while the DU9000 is a 2024 set that wins on being a 98-inch at this price. With a slightly looser budget, last year's QLED often overlaps in price; newness versus picture is your call.
