Crystal UHD is Samsung’s mainstream 4K LCD TV family. It uses LED backlighting rather than OLED self-lit pixels. Start here if your priority is an everyday screen for drama, news and streaming, then compare the exact model’s picture controls and connections with higher-tier alternatives. A newer model year alone does not establish better HDR or gaming performance.
What to compare before stepping up
Size and placement: measure the cabinet, stand footprint and viewing position. The diagonal in inches is not the chassis width.
Backlight control: check whether the particular model has genuine local dimming. A processing name such as “Micro Dimming” should not be treated as a published count of physical dimming zones.
Gaming: confirm the accepted refresh rate at 4K, the relevant HDMI port and Game Mode. A motion-processing label does not establish 4K120 input.
Smart TV use: check Tizen app availability for the supplied region, phone casting and the account or subscription required by your services.

Is Crystal UHD the same as QLED?
No. Crystal UHD describes this Samsung LCD product family; QLED refers to quantum-dot colour technology. Neither name by itself tells you the refresh rate, local-dimming capability or every supported HDR format.
Check the exact model and regional version before ordering: tuner support, apps and accessories can differ. Eligible international-version TVs receive Elechid’s three-year on-site inspection and repair labour cover; replacement parts are quoted separately. Hong Kong licensed models follow the applicable brand terms. Read the TV warranty policy and Hong Kong delivery and wall-mounting information.
