1. About these terms

In these terms and conditions, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Cheung Hoi International Development Limited, trading as Elechid (音立), and "you" or "customer" refers to any individual, organisation or company ordering goods or services from us.

Please read these terms carefully before using this website. By using our online store or any part of it, you confirm that you have read, accepted and agree to be bound by these terms.

These terms should be read together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.

2. Products, prices and availability

  • We work to keep prices, product information and specifications on this site accurate and current. We may change prices without prior notice.
  • Product photographs and images are for identification purposes. Actual dimensions, finishes and colours may differ from what appears on screen.
  • All orders are subject to stock availability. If an item you have ordered is unavailable, we will contact you by phone or email and may offer a comparable substitute at the same price.
  • Prices shown on this website apply to online orders. Prices in our store may differ; in-store purchases are subject to the price displayed there on the day.

3. Currency and payment

  • All prices are quoted and charged in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).
  • We accept credit and debit cards, FPS, bank transfer, the electronic payment methods shown at checkout, and payment in store.

4. Orders and acceptance

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We will send you an acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order — this acknowledgement is not acceptance of your order.
  • A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and dispatch the goods.
  • We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, where there is a payment or card authorisation problem, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we decline your order, any payment taken will be refunded in full.

5. Delivery

  • Goods are delivered to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Please make sure it is correct and tell us promptly if it changes.
  • Delivery dates and times are estimates. We will contact you if a delivery needs to be rescheduled.
  • Delivery charges, coverage areas, installation services and outlying-island arrangements are set out in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns and exchanges are covered by our Refund Policy, including replacement of units found to be cracked or faulty on unboxing.

Products are additionally covered by the Elechid 3-year on-site warranty. Full terms are set out in our FAQ.

7. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to supply goods or services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, accidents, equipment failure, or disruption to transport or utilities. Where such an event occurs, we will contact you to reschedule or, if that is not practical, refund you.

8. Limitation of liability

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of income or profit, arising from your purchase.
  • Except as set out below, our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
  • Nothing in these terms affects the commitments given in our Refund Policy or warranty terms, or your statutory rights under Hong Kong law, including those under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26).

9. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

10. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with a product, a service, or the outcome of a claim, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly and directly. You may ask us to review a decision, and we will look at the case again with you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your order at the time you place it. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated.
