Sony's official tiering: the bigger the number, the higher the positioning, and "II" marks a second generation within a tier. The model codes (S30, XR30M2 and so on) and the BRAVIA names are two names for the same set.
Why does Sony not publish zone counts or brightness?
Sony's official specs never include those figures, so neither do we. Their pitch is processor tuning - that, not the spec table, is the core reason to buy one.
Which one for gaming?
