Mini RGB is the new backlight approach LG brought to 2026: instead of blue LEDs behind a quantum dot layer, the backlight itself is made of red, green and blue LEDs - colour is separated at the light source, which is how the MRGB85 series earned its "double 100% colour" certification: full coverage of both DCI-P3, the film standard, and Adobe RGB, the photography standard. Three Things Before You Buy

One: gaming runs a PS5 at its full 4K 120Hz, with PC up to 144Hz - but there are only three HDMI ports, and a soundbar takes the eARC one, so count your boxes. Two: the built-in speakers are 20W 2.0-channel, no match for the panel - budget for a soundbar if you can.
