TCL C8K is a quantum-dot Mini LED LCD 4K family with CrystGlow WHVA and current Hong Kong TSR AiPQ wording. Confirm the supplied 2025 stock revision rather than assuming a refreshed webpage proves a hardware change.
Match panel and audio to the selected size
TCL’s 85-inch Hong Kong page lists up to 2,880 dimming zones and HDR 5,000 nits; its footnote assigns HDR 4,500 nits to the 65- and 75-inch versions. These are size-specific manufacturer laboratory claims, not Elechid measurements or uniform figures for the entire range. Compare the exact size and stock revision when choosing for your room. C8K is a QD-Mini LED range, distinct from the SQD-Mini LED C8L.
Panel refresh and source mode
Native 144Hz and the 4K 144Hz signal path are documented, while actual source compatibility depends on size, mode, cable and HDMI input. The separate 288Hz accelerator is named for HDMI 1 and 2; it is not 4K 288Hz. Check the exact supplied model’s resolution and refresh combinations before connecting a PC or console, and confirm the audio-return connection for a Sound Bar. Refresh specifications alone are not measured lag or ghosting results.
Streaming, picture settings and audio
For films, confirm the enabled HDR formats and choose settings for your actual content and room. Google TV is documented on the current HK page. Apps, casting, voice services and subscriptions depend on Hong Kong support. A branded sound system does not guarantee physical overhead audio or remove the need to consider a Sound Bar.

Room fit and installation planning
For the selected size, measure the cabinet width and depth, stand footprint, seating position and delivery route. Screen diagonal is not the chassis, stand or carton dimension. Check cable clearance, ventilation, wall construction and the exact VESA/screw specification before wall mounting. If you use a Sound Bar, allow space without obscuring the picture or remote sensor.
