Smart Door Locks
The first step with a smart lock isn't choosing features; it's measuring your door. All four EZVIZ locks here are door-mounted locks with a 6068 lock body and fit doors 40 to 120 mm thick. Whether your door, lock body and opening direction suit them decides whether they can be fitted at all. Once that's confirmed, choose the unlocking methods, door camera and battery. Everything is Hong Kong licensed stock, and there are also home sensors that work with the EZVIZ system.
Unlocking methods
The DL50FVX, DL50FVS Plus and DL20FVS Plus support 3D face, palm vein, fingerprint, passcode, mechanical key, Bluetooth key in the EZVIZ app, temporary codes and remote unlocking. Each holds up to 50 users, with 50 faces, palm veins, fingerprints and passcodes. Palm vein recognition reads the blood-vessel pattern inside the hand from 15 to 25 cm away, so you don't touch the lock. The DL05 uses fingerprint, passcode, card, mechanical key and the app, without face recognition.
Choosing between the four locks
- DL50FVX: two outdoor cameras covering the top and bottom of the doorway, a 4-inch indoor screen, and two rechargeable lithium batteries (5000 mAh plus 2000 mAh).
- DL50FVS Plus: one door camera plus a 4-inch indoor screen, and a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery that EZVIZ rates at up to about 4 months (Bluetooth mode, Wi-Fi off, 10 unlocks a day).
- DL20FVS Plus: a traditional lever-handle design with face, palm vein, door camera and indoor screen; EZVIZ rates the battery at 4 to 5 months under the same test.
- DL05: a lever-handle fingerprint lock running on 8 AA batteries, rated by EZVIZ at up to 365 days under the same test; IP65 outer panel; no camera of its own, but it can link with selected EZVIZ indoor cameras.
Before fitting
- Measure your door and check it is between 40 and 120 mm thick.
- Take photos of your current lock and the metal plate on the door edge, and note which way the door opens.
- WhatsApp us the photos and thickness so we can confirm the fit before you order; installation is arranged separately and is not included in the price.
- A flat battery is not a lock-out: all four have a USB-C emergency power port and a mechanical key.
All four connect to the EZVIZ app over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; EZVIZ does not list a separate hub for the locks themselves.
EZVIZ home sensors
The T1C motion sensor, T2C door/window sensor, T3C smart button and T10C water-leak sensor use Zigbee 3.0 and only work with an EZVIZ A3 gateway (sold separately); they cannot connect to a phone directly. The T10C is IP67, suited to the floor by a washing machine or under a kitchen sink, and the T3C can act as a one-press arm/disarm or emergency button.
Hong Kong licensed warranty and delivery
Everything in this collection is Hong Kong licensed stock, covered by the local distributor's warranty; the period is shown on the warranty card in the box. All items are brand new. Stock can be viewed at our Kwun Tong showroom by appointment (viewing only). Delivery is by SF Express, freight collect; self-collection at our Kwun Tong shop is free (11:00–19:00). FAQ
What happens if the lock runs out of power?
Connect a power bank to the USB-C emergency port to power it and unlock, or use the mechanical key. Charge or replace the batteries regularly.
How do family members and helpers use it?
Each lock stores up to 50 users, and you can send temporary codes to visitors from the app instead of handing out keys.
Can the sensors connect straight to the lock?
No. The T-series sensors join the EZVIZ app through the EZVIZ A3 gateway, where you set up automations. The lock's auto-lock feature uses a different, Bluetooth version of the door sensor, not this Zigbee T2C.
