The Yaber K300s is a native 1080p triple RGB laser projector designed to sit near the wall instead of behind the seating area. Its 0.18:1 ultra short throw optics and dual 15W JBL speakers with Dolby Audio make it a practical candidate for a compact living-room cinema. Supported 4K decoding and a Google TV dongle do not turn its Full HD panel into native 4K.
Understand the 100-inch wall-gap reference
Yaber and Elechid quote a 100-inch image from about 24.8cm away. The Hong Kong distributor describes placement distances as the gap between the projector body and wall. Treat 24.8cm as a published body-to-wall reference, not a measured lens-to-screen distance or the complete depth of a TV cabinet. Allow for the body footprint, cables, ventilation and the image height above the cabinet.
The official throw ratio is 0.18:1 ±2%, but ultra short throw placement includes optical offsets. Do not substitute the quoted body gap into a lens-distance formula. Use the installation diagram and the throw-distance and placement guide before buying furniture. A level cabinet and a flat surface matter: close projection can reveal wall unevenness very clearly.
The local size range is 40–120 inches, while another official table and Elechid's Chinese specification recommend 60–100 inches. Keep both references in mind and confirm your intended size against the supplied manual. Autofocus and automatic keystone correction help setup, but a UST-compatible ALR or CLR screen needs careful matching. Laser picture, streaming and power
Elechid and Basco list 1000 ANSI lumens. Yaber's page also contains a 600 ISO reference, so confirm the Hong Kong documentation rather than converting between units. Reduce ambient light for better dark-scene contrast. Laser technology does not guarantee daylight-TV performance, and proximity sensing is not permission to look into the projection light.
Basco describes a Google TV 4K dongle in the Hong Kong K300s. Confirm the current supplied dongle and remotes, and check app availability for your account. Streaming needs internet access and subscriptions. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 complement HDMI ARC, LAN, USB and headphone output; public sources disagree on the USB port count, so verify it if accessories depend on that detail.
Phone mirroring is separate from direct streaming-app playback and can be restricted for protected video. Read the phone-casting black-screen troubleshooting guide before relying on it. Plan to use the supplied mains adapter: the 1.8kg listed weight makes moving the projector manageable but does not establish battery use. Built-in JBL stereo is convenient, with external audio an option according to your room.

Will it fit on a cabinet only 24.8cm deep?
That figure is a wall-gap reference, not total installation depth. Include the projector body and required cable and ventilation clearance.
Can I choose any ALR screen?
No. Match the screen to ultra short throw optics and confirm its orientation and setup guidance. General long-throw ALR screens are not automatically suitable.
