The Yaber K2S combines native 1080p projection, dual JBL speakers with Dolby Audio and an NFC shortcut for compatible phone casting. It suits a shared living-room setup where built-in sound and several wired inputs are useful. The Hong Kong listing gives 800 ANSI lumens; Basco also describes a Google TV dongle housed inside the projector, rather than native 4K imaging.
Check the optical revision before planning a screen
The listed 40–200-inch range is a size reference, not a promise of equal brightness at every size. Use curtains and reduce light hitting the picture for film viewing. A larger image spreads the available light further; the white-wall, ALR and CLR screen guide explains why the surface and lighting matter.
Yaber's official page includes two specification tables: an 800 ANSI version at 1.54:1 and an upgraded 1000 ANSI version at 1.3:1. For a 16:9 100-inch picture, those ratios calculate to about 3.41m and 2.88m respectively. These are conditional geometric estimates, not confirmed distances for Elechid's supplied unit. Confirm the Hong Kong model's ratio before choosing a shelf; an unqualified “six feet” cannot describe every image size. See the throw-distance and placement guide.
Autofocus and automatic keystone correction help after moving the projector, but start with a firm surface and the lens aimed squarely at the screen. Digital correction can reduce usable detail. Manufacturer quiet-mode guidance also describes reduced brightness, so quieter operation is a setting tradeoff rather than a guaranteed noise figure in every mode.
NFC, Google TV and the actual port functions
NFC helps start compatible screencasting; it does not bypass phone, app, receiver or network requirements. Follow the supplied setup instructions. Protected services such as Netflix can restrict phone-screen mirroring even when menus or photos display correctly. Use a supported streaming app or compatible HDMI player, and consult the phone-casting black-screen troubleshooting guide.
Basco's Hong Kong K2S page describes a Google TV 4K dongle installed in the projector and removable according to the instructions. Confirm the supplied dongle, firmware and remotes before ordering. “4K” source or dongle support does not change the K2S's native 1080p panel. Internet access and subscriptions are separate.
The listed ports include two HDMI inputs, USB, USB-C, AV and headphone output. The USB-C socket alone does not establish USB Power Delivery input, power-bank operation or USB-C video; check its specific function in the Hong Kong manual. Plan mains power and leave space for cables and ventilation. Dual JBL audio is useful for a simple setup, but this standard K2S description does not promise a separate subwoofer.

Frequently asked questions
Does NFC guarantee Netflix mirroring from any phone?
No. NFC is a setup shortcut, and protected playback has separate restrictions. Check the phone and supplied casting instructions.
Is a wireless subwoofer included?
Do not assume a K2S Pro bundle applies to this standard K2S. Confirm accessories for the exact order.
