Is 4K support the same as native 4K?

No. Native resolution describes the projected pixel grid; a higher-resolution input can be accepted and scaled down. For example, Kodak Luma 350 is native 854 × 480. Check the particular model's displayed resolution and technology, not just “4K compatible” in a listing.

How should I compare brightness?

Keep ANSI, ISO and unqualified lumen claims distinct. Check the stated measurement method, picture mode and model edition; do not use a fixed ANSI-to-ISO conversion. Increasing image size spreads light over a larger area. Neither a laser light source nor a large advertised lumen figure guarantees good daytime contrast.

How far away for 100 inches?

A 100-inch 16:9 image is about 2.21 m wide. Multiply that width by the verified throw ratio: at 1.2:1 the calculated lens-to-screen distance is about 2.66 m. Allow for the body, plugs and ventilation, and check the exact installation chart. Short-throw and ultra-short-throw models need their own diagrams.

Can I use Netflix, myTV SUPER or phone casting?

Check the exact supplied unit's supported apps, Hong Kong service availability and account requirements. Google TV, Android, AirPlay and Google Cast are not interchangeable guarantees. A supported projector app is different from phone mirroring; protected content may restrict casting or HDMI playback.

Do I need a projector screen?

A smooth, neutral wall can be a starting point, but its texture, colour and surrounding light affect the picture. ALR and CLR screens have directional requirements: match the screen to the projector's throw type and placement. Check the screen guide before choosing an accessory.

What warranty applies?

Our FAQ states a 10-day faulty-item exchange arrangement for projectors, excluding damage caused by the user and subject to the applicable terms. This merchant exchange window is not the manufacturer warranty period. For a model listed as Hong Kong official goods, confirm the local warranty provider, duration and coverage. The international-TV three-year service policy does not automatically apply to projectors.

Yaber K3 Pro is a native 1920 × 1080 projector with Google TV and JBL audio. Support for a higher-resolution input does not turn its displayed image into native 4K. It is a living-room candidate for a large film picture when placement and light control suit the room; the complete bundle, brightness rating and local service terms should match the Hong Kong unit supplied.

Plan the image before choosing the projector

Yaber publishes a 1.2:1 throw ratio for the K3 series. For a 16:9 image, calculated lens-to-screen distances are about 2.13 m for 80 inches, 2.66 m for 100 inches and 3.19 m for 120 inches. Check the exact installation chart and allow for body depth, plugs and ventilation. Digital zoom or keystone correction is not a replacement for sufficient optical distance and physical alignment.

Brightness: keep the edition and measurement clear

This Hong Kong listing has been described as 1,600 ANSI lumens. Yaber's current global page lists different ISO figures for K3 and K3 Pro. These should not be treated as interchangeable specifications or converted using a fixed factor. Confirm the supplied edition's documented rating and picture mode; screen size, material and ambient light still determine the result.

Google TV and the JBL/subwoofer bundle

Yaber describes Google TV access and lists Netflix, YouTube and other services for the K3 series. Confirm the supplied unit's supported services, regional availability, subscription and firmware. Google TV uses built-in streaming hardware; follow the supplied bundle's setup and remote-control instructions. Supported inputs are separate from app playback support.

The manufacturer describes K3 Pro as including JBL stereo speakers and an external subwoofer. Check that the Hong Kong bundle includes the separate subwoofer, its power supply and required space before choosing on sound. Speaker power and connections vary across published editions; use the supplied model's documentation instead of mixing overseas and local figures.

Who should consider it?

A living-room film setup with a suitable optical path and controllable lighting.
A buyer who wants Google TV and a confirmed separate-subwoofer bundle.
Someone who can leave enough space for the projector, screen and audio rather than choosing by diagonal size alone.

For a bright room that cannot be shaded, compare a TV as well. For mounting, follow the exact manual and use a qualified installer for overhead or heavy installations.
