Samsung QN85F 55-Inch Neo QLED 4K Mini LED Smart TV (2025)
The QN85F is the top rung of our 55-inch Neo QLED ladder: Quantum Mini LED Pro backlighting with Supreme UHD Dimming — the finest light control of the three — paired with 40W 2.2-channel Dolby Atmos audio. All four HDMI ports accept 4K 144Hz, so the gaming spec is top-tier too.
Price and stock
Price: HK$5,980 (the buy button is authoritative) · In stock
International version, not local licensed stock, with the warranty provided by us (details at the end). Specifications verified against the official Samsung Malaysia sheet (QA55QN85FAKXXM).
Three things to know before buying
- Refresh rate: the official sheet says 100Hz (Up to 144Hz). It is not "a 144Hz TV" — 144 is the ceiling, not the native figure. For gaming, read the HDMI row: all four ports officially accept 4K 144Hz, so any port suits a PS5, Xbox or PC.
- Google Cast is "No" — in writing, on the official sheet. An Android phone cannot one-tap cast; you use the SmartThings app or Smart View. Most shops will not tell you this. We do.
- The HK$300 over the QN80F buys one tier each of dimming and HDR: Quantum Mini LED Pro with Supreme UHD Dimming (the QN80F runs Quantum Mini LED), and Neo Quantum HDR+ (versus Neo Quantum HDR). For dark-room film nights it is the best-value step on the ladder.

System and casting: the one thing to know
Runs Tizen with the mainstream apps — Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ — and Bixby voice control. But the official sheet states Google Cast: No — Android casting goes through the SmartThings app or Smart View, not a one-tap Cast button. If your household is all-Android and casts daily, weigh this before buying.
Hong Kong free-to-air reception: this international version belongs to a DVB-T2 broadcast market, while Hong Kong uses DTMB. WhatsApp us before buying and we will answer for this exact model; the myTV SUPER and ViuTV apps also carry local content.

Delivery and installation
At 55 inches, delivery with stand installation is HK$300 and wall mounting HK$600 (bracket included, nothing added on the day). Walk-ups add HK$100 per floor. Service area is Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories, with separate outlying-island arrangements. Showroom collection in Kwun Tong is free; the showroom holds stock for collection only. The ladder, up and down
Save HK$300: the Samsung QN80F 55-inch (HK$5,980, in stock) — identical four-port 4K144 gaming spec, 30W four-channel audio with Atmos, one dimming tier lower.
Spend HK$200 more: the Samsung S85F 55-inch OLED (HK$6,480, in stock) — cross into OLED, where dark-room black level is a different world; brightness is where this Neo QLED wins instead.

Warranty
International version, not local licensed stock, with the warranty provided by us: free on-site inspection and repair within three years, with any parts replacement quoted separately — the quote comes first and work proceeds only after you confirm. Frequently asked questions
Is this a 144Hz TV?
The official sheet says 100Hz (Up to 144Hz) — 144 is the ceiling, not the native figure. For gaming, the HDMI row is what counts: all four ports officially accept 4K 144Hz, and a PS5 runs 4K120 without issue.
Can an Android phone cast to it?
The official sheet states Google Cast: No — there is no one-tap Cast. Use the SmartThings app or Smart View mirroring. iPhone users are barely affected; heavy Android casters should weigh this before buying.
Is the HK$300 over the QN80F worth it?
It buys one tier each of light control and HDR: Quantum Mini LED Pro with Supreme UHD Dimming, and Neo Quantum HDR+. Worth it for frequent dark-room film nights; for everyday living-room use the QN80F is plenty.
Will it receive Hong Kong free-to-air channels?
This international version belongs to a DVB-T2 broadcast market, while Hong Kong uses DTMB. WhatsApp us before buying and we will answer for this exact model; the myTV SUPER and ViuTV apps also carry local content.
Does it run Netflix, YouTube and Disney+?
Yes — this is the international Tizen platform with the mainstream streaming apps included.
