Samsung DU7700 50-inch Crystal UHD 4K
The 50-inch DU7700 combines Crystal Processor 4K, an LED-backlit 4K LCD screen and Tizen for everyday film, sports and streaming. It is Crystal UHD rather than quantum-dot QLED. Its Slim Look chassis and Flat Feet stand can suit a bedroom or smaller living area when furniture support and seating are planned from actual dimensions.

Motion and source compatibility
The NZ UA50DU7700SXNZ reference lists 50Hz refresh and 4K60 on HDMI1/2/3, with VRR, ALLM and HGiG. VRR is not proof of a particular 45–60fps range or zero tearing, and these features do not make it 4K120. Select supported console timings and game settings without a blanket ban on modern consoles.
HDR processing and 20W audio
Crystal Processor 4K provides 4K Upscaling; UHD Dimming, Contrast Enhancer and Filmmaker Mode are listed. HDR and HDR10+ are the documented HDR features. Source quality and settings affect detail and contrast, so neither upscaling nor QLED alternatives guarantee a universal picture-quality winner.
Audio is 20W two-channel with OTS Lite, Adaptive Sound and Q-Symphony. A separately purchased compatible Samsung Sound Bar is needed for Q-Symphony; do not assume any bar works or that the operating system alone determines audio compatibility. The reference provides three HDMI, one USB-A ande ARC/ARC.

These reference measurements describe the chassis and stand, not theoretical visible-screen dimensions. Check the cabinet width, supported stand positions, wall structure and bracket load rating. A narrow stand setting does not make a cabinet narrower than the television automatically suitable.
Use the 750.6 × 237mm foot placement and full 1120.3mm chassis width for cabinet planning. VESA 200 × 200mm alone does not prove any small bracket is safe. Choose viewing distance for subtitles, angle and comfort, not an obligatory 1.6–2.1m range or automatic size upgrade.
Streaming and everyday connections
Tizen provides the smart-TV interface. Apps, AI functions, language support and connected-device features vary by regional model and service region; some require a Samsung Account, internet access, compatible devices or subscriptions. Confirm the services you use rather than assuming an overseas app list or tuner provides Hong Kong reception.

Measure the actual cabinet, chassis and stand footprint, leaving space for cables and a Sound Bar. Check packed dimensions, doorway and lift access for delivery. Do game features establish 4K120 input?
No. Use the accepted HDMI timing in the reference table. Automatic game mode and motion processing do not establish 4K120 capability.
