LG 2025 QNED evo and OLED overview
This guide introduces LG's 2025 TV families and the checks that matter when choosing a size and regional model.

QNED evo: check the exact generation
QNED is an LCD family name. LG's 2025 QNED evo announcement describes Dynamic QNED Color replacing quantum dots in that generation, so QNED does not always mean quantum dots plus NanoCell. Check the model's backlight, local dimming, processor and input limits separately. Wireless picture transmission does not mean wireless power; the screen still needs a power connection.
C5 and G5 OLED
OLED uses self-emissive pixels. The C5 and G5 should be compared by the same size, regional SKU, mounting requirements and source. LG's Australian OLED42C5PSA page identifies C5 with alpha 9 AI Processor 4K Gen8 and uses G5's alpha 11 Gen2 as a comparison; it also documents a 42-inch C5 and PC-conditional 144Hz. These are regional examples, not proof of every supplied variant.

Buying implications
For a home, consider reflections, seating, static content and connections. For a meeting room, also confirm duty cycle and commercial-use warranty. Compare the exact model in the conditions you expect to use; brand position alone cannot establish suitability. Confirm smart services, territory and after-sales terms before buying.
