For a 2025–2026 TV purchase, larger screens, Mini LED backlighting, higher-rate inputs and AI features are useful comparison topics. The important question is what each feature does in your room and with your sources—not whether a brand or technology label appears more often in a shop’s catalogue.
Larger screens: compare area and the complete cost
Price divided by diagonal inches is a simple price-per-diagonal-inch measure, not price per screen area. At the same aspect ratio, area grows with the square of the diagonal: a 65-inch display has about 40% more display area than a 55-inch one. That arithmetic does not establish manufacturing cost, value for money or viewing comfort.
Measure seat-to-screen distance, stand footprint and the actual carton route before choosing a size. Compare same-size complete models, delivery and installation quotations; a larger screen is not automatically the better purchase.

Display labels and maximum sizes
OLED is self-emissive; Mini LED describes an LCD backlight; QLED describes quantum-dot colour technology; Neo QLED is a Samsung range name. These categories can overlap, so their model counts are not independent market shares. Compare exact-size dimming, reflections and brightness rather than expecting a universal winner.
A store’s selection does not define a global technology ceiling. LG’s 5 March 2026 US OLED announcement includes a 97-inch G6; this is a US range example, not a claim of Hong Kong supply or Elechid stock. LG US announcement

Higher refresh rates: read the input conditions
A 60Hz TV can still be suitable for games rendered at 30 or 60fps. To benefit from 120fps, the game, console or PC, TV input and any intermediate equipment must support the required mode. Native refresh, accepted input rate, frame interpolation and conditional DLG modes are different specifications.
For example, Samsung’s documented Australian QN70F 55–85-inch variants list 100Hz native and 4K144 on all four HDMI inputs. Use that as a named regional reference, then match your supplied full model code and source; do not infer the same capability from an HDMI version or Mini LED label. Samsung AU QN70F sheet

AI features and brand comparisons
Upscaling, scene detection and sound processing can be useful, but the result depends on content and settings. Processor names do not show how well a TV handles your compressed programmes, and an assistant’s availability depends on model, region, language, network and service terms. Compare the actual feature you need rather than an AI badge.
A retailer’s assortment reflects its own sourcing and selection. It cannot establish Hong Kong demand or market share without a defined market dataset. Compare brands through exact models, warranty providers and supported services.
