The Kodak FLIK X10 is a native 1080p LED projector for a straightforward bedroom or small living-room setup. Its two HDMI inputs let you leave a console and a streaming player connected, while USB playback handles compatible photos and videos. With a manufacturer rating of 150 ANSI lumens, it suits evening viewing with curtains closed and room lights lowered.
Plan the picture around your room
The advertised maximum is 120 inches, but that is a size limit rather than a promise of equal brightness at every size. A smaller picture concentrates the available light and is a practical starting point for subtitles, films and casual gaming. Kodak's X10 documentation gives a 1.3:1 throw ratio. For a 16:9 picture, the calculated lens-to-screen distances are approximately 2.30 m at 80 inches, 2.88 m at 100 inches and 3.45 m at 120 inches. These are calculations from the published ratio, not measurements of the supplied unit. Allow space behind the projector for cables and ventilation, and check the throw distance and placement guide.
Connect your own entertainment source
The X10's multimedia interface is for source selection and local playback; Kodak does not list built-in streaming apps. Connect a suitable HDMI streaming stick or TV box for Netflix, YouTube and other services, with its own power supply where required. A phone connection needs a compatible video-output adapter or HDMI receiver. Manual focus and separate manual keystone adjustment of up to ±12° help square the picture. Place the lens centrally and as square to the screen as possible first. The twin 3 W speakers cover a simple setup, while the 3.5 mm audio output allows compatible headphones or speakers.

Questions before choosing the X10
Can it run on an internal battery?
No. The X10 uses plug-in power. Plan a socket near the table or mounting position; its compact size does not make it a cordless projector.
Is it a smart projector or a 4K model?
Its native display is 1080p, and streaming comes from your connected device. Choose it for simple HDMI viewing rather than assuming an integrated app platform.
