LG MRGB96 100 inches is a 2026 Micro RGB LCD TV, pairing a red, green and blue LED backlight with Micro Dimming Ultra and Alpha 11 Gen 3 processing. It targets large-screen film, sport and compatible gaming use, without being a self-emissive OLED or MicroLED display.
The table retains LG Hong Kong’s 100MRGB96BC display and physical-size reference. The Singapore100MRGB96BS has different wireless specifications, so it is not interchangeable with the HK reference. Confirm the complete supplied regional model and accessories before ordering.

Micro RGB colour and LCD backlight control
LG describes independently controlled red, green and blue LEDs in its Micro RGB backlight. The LCD layer still forms the image, so this is not per-pixel self-emissive RGB. The manufacturer reports triple 100% colour coverage certification across BT.2020, DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB; that is a manufacturer certification statement, not an Elechid measurement or a guarantee for every picture mode. No exact dimming-zone or measured brightness figure is quoted.
LG Mini RGB is a different construction: Tandem LED with stacked colour layers, no R-chip LEDs and no independently operated chips. Ordinary Mini LED models also vary; a quantum-dot layer is not universal. See the existing LG 2026 lineup guide for family context.
Native 120Hz, VRR 165 and Full-HD Motion Booster
Native 120Hz, compatible VRR up to 165Hz and Motion Booster 330 are separate specifications. Motion Booster 330 uses optimized Full HD, not 4K330. For 4K120 console or PC play, the game, hardware, HDMI cable and settings must support the mode. A compatible PC is required for higher-rate VRR; neither ALLM nor a frame-rate label establishes measured input lag. QMS helps certain frame-rate changes but does not make all source switching black-screen-free.
HDR, sound and webOS 26
The reference lists Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, with 40W2.2-channel sound and Dolby Atmos. Virtual 11.1.2 AI up-mixing does not mean physical 11.1.2 speakers. A Sound Bar on eARC occupies one input; plan the console, player and set-top box connections accordingly. webOS 26 apps, AI/voice functions and Re:New upgrades depend on region and model, and some content needs an account or subscription. Upscaling processes the source available; it does not create native 4K detail from any stream.
Large-screen placement and delivery access
The HK reference body is 2230 × 1277 × 49.9mm without stand, or 2230 × 1372/1324 × 434mm with stand. The bare TV weighs 67.3kg; with stand it is 77kg. These are not visible-screen measurements. The manufacturer carton is 2390 × 1620 × 285mm and 104.2kg gross: measure the lift interior and doorway, corridor turns and entry door using those packed dimensions. Wall mounting uses a 600×400mm VESA pattern but also needs a suitable bracket, structural fixings and load rating.

Is MRGB96 a 165Hz or 330Hz native panel?
No. The reference is native 120Hz with compatible VRR up to 165Hz. Motion Booster 330 uses optimized Full HD, not 4K330.
How is Micro RGB different from Mini RGB?
LG Micro RGB controls red, green and blue backlight LEDs. Its Mini RGB uses Tandem LED layers without R-chip LEDs or independently operated chips. Both are LCD designs.
Will 100 inches fit my home?
