Dolby Vision used to be a feature you paid extra for. On the Skyworth Q66K it arrives in a 55-inch, quantum-dot set that is aimed squarely at everyday households rather than enthusiasts. This is Skyworth's 2026 QLED+ model for Hong Kong: a 4K panel with a quantum-dot colour layer, Google TV, both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, Dolby Atmos sound and a built-in DTMB tuner for local channels. It is not a Mini LED set and it does not pretend to be one — its strengths are colour and HDR format coverage, not deep local-dimming contrast.

QLED+ quantum-dot colour

Skyworth describes the Q66K's panel as sixth-generation QLED+, adding a quantum-dot layer to a 3840 x 2160 panel. The rated colour gamut is 90% of DCI-P3 (CIE 1976), which is what gives HDR and animated content richer, more saturated colour than a basic LED set. Rated brightness is 300 nits, and Skyworth does not list local dimming for this model, so expect a clean, colourful picture in a normally lit room rather than the punchy HDR highlights of a Mini LED set.

Dolby Vision and HDR10+ on one set

The Q66K accepts both dynamic-metadata HDR formats, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, alongside standard HDR10. That covers the way Hong Kong streaming is actually split: Netflix and Disney+ lean on Dolby Vision, while other services and many 4K files use HDR10+. Whichever app you open, the TV receives the format the title was mastered in, instead of dropping back to plain HDR10.

Dolby Atmos sound and HSR 120Hz motion

Audio runs through two 10W speakers with Dolby Atmos decoding, Dolby Audio and DBX-TV processing. For motion, Skyworth lists HSR 120Hz (High Speed Refresh) and includes a Game Mode and a Filmmaker Mode. Skyworth does not publish the native panel refresh rate or whether a 4K 120Hz signal is accepted, so treat 4K 120fps console gaming as unconfirmed; for streaming, sport and free-to-air TV this does not come into play.

Google TV and Hong Kong channels built in

Google TV runs on Android 14 with a voice remote, and Skyworth's Hong Kong store lists YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and MyTV Super support. The hardware is a Cortex-A55 processor with a Mali-G52 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A built-in DTMB tuner receives TVB and HOY straight from an aerial. Connections include three HDMI inputs, one USB port, an AV input, LAN, optical audio out and a headphone jack, with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1. The set carries a Grade 1 energy label.

A 55-inch size that fits more rooms

At 55 inches the Q66K works in the places a larger set would overwhelm — a bedroom, a study, or a living room where the sofa is close to the TV wall. The panel is 70 mm deep without its stand and weighs 8.4 kg, and it takes a standard 200 x 200 mm VESA bracket, so wall mounting is straightforward. On a TV cabinet, allow for the full 1226 mm width. Warranty and delivery

This is Hong Kong licensed stock (行貨) carrying the manufacturer's Hong Kong warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card supplied with the set. Viewing is available by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom.

For a 55-inch set, delivery with tabletop installation is HK$300, or delivery with wall mounting is HK$600 with the bracket included. Collection at the Kwun Tong shop is free. Walk-up buildings without a lift add HK$100 per floor, with no cap. Discovery Bay adds HK$500. Cheung Chau and Lamma Island orders are delivered to the Central pier for self-collection, without installation. Installation is a paid service and is not included in the price of the set.

Frequently asked questions

Will it pick up Hong Kong free-to-air channels without a set-top box?

Yes. The Q66K has a built-in DTMB digital terrestrial tuner, so an aerial connection gives you TVB and HOY channels directly. Run an automatic channel scan after installation.

What is the difference between the Q66K and the G66K?

The Q66K adds a quantum-dot (QLED+) colour layer rated at 90% DCI-P3, plus Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. Skyworth's specification for the G66K lists HDR10 only. Both run Google TV, list HSR 120Hz and have a built-in DTMB tuner.

Is HSR 120Hz the same as a native 120Hz panel?

Not necessarily, and we would rather be clear about it. HSR is Skyworth's name for its high-refresh mode; the company does not publish the native panel refresh rate or the resolutions at which 120Hz input is accepted. If 4K 120fps console gaming is a priority, choose a model with a confirmed native 120Hz or 144Hz panel.

Does Dolby Vision work from an Apple TV 4K or other streaming box?

Skyworth lists Dolby Vision support for the Q66K, and the built-in Google TV apps can play it. With an external box, set its video output to Dolby Vision in the box's own settings, as some devices default to HDR10.
