If you want a real high-refresh gaming panel but your room only takes a 55-inch screen, the Z570SP is the most direct way into Toshiba's 2026 144Hz range. The panel refreshes natively at 144Hz with VRR, AMD FreeSync Premium and ALLM, behind a quantum-dot layer and a direct LED backlight, and the HDR list runs from HDR10+ to Dolby Vision IQ. It is a QLED set, not Mini LED — the Z670SP is the Mini LED model.

Native 144Hz with VRR and FreeSync Premium
Toshiba lists 144Hz as the panel's refresh rate, so a PS5, Xbox Series X or gaming PC sending 120Hz is shown at 120Hz rather than halved. VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium match the panel to the game's changing frame rate to stop tearing, and ALLM switches to low-latency mode when a game starts. Game Mode Pro and the on-screen Game Deck keep the gaming settings in one place.
Quantum dot with a direct LED backlight
Colour comes from a quantum-dot layer over a direct LED backlight, with Toshiba's backlight control and dynamic backlight. The 55-inch model is rated at 350 nits typical brightness. Toshiba does not publish a dimming-zone count for this series, so we do not quote one.
REGZA Engine ZRi and Dolby Vision IQ
Toshiba Hong Kong's Z570SP page shows the REGZA Engine ZRi processor handling upscaling, AI picture tuning and HDR. HDR support covers HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ and HLG, and Filmmaker Mode is available for films.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X on a 2.0-channel system
The 55-inch Z570SP uses a 2.0-channel speaker pair rated 2 x 10W, with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and Eilex processing. There is no separate subwoofer on this size, so gamers who want weight in the low end should plan for a soundbar.

Warranty and delivery
This is Hong Kong licensed stock carrying the manufacturer's Hong Kong warranty. The exact warranty term is stated on the warranty card supplied with the set. Viewing is available by appointment at our Kwun Tong showroom.
For a 55-inch set, delivery with tabletop installation is HK$300, or delivery with wall mounting is HK$600 with the bracket included. Collection at the Kwun Tong shop is free. Walk-up buildings add HK$100 per floor with no cap. Discovery Bay adds HK$500. Cheung Chau and Lamma are delivered to the Central pier for self-collection, with no installation.

Is 144Hz the real panel refresh rate? Yes. Toshiba lists 144Hz as the refresh rate and a separate smooth motion rate of 240 — the second figure is motion processing, the first is the panel. A console outputting 120Hz is displayed at 120Hz.
What is the difference between the Z570SP and the Z670SP? The backlight and the sound. The Z570SP is a QLED with a direct LED backlight; the Z670SP uses a QD-Mini LED backlight with higher rated brightness (400 nits typical, 600 nits peak at 55 inches) and a four-driver speaker system. Both are native 144Hz with VRR and FreeSync Premium.
Which smart platform does it use? Toshiba Hong Kong's spec sheet lists VIDAA as the smart platform, with the VIDAA app store, voice control and AirPlay casting. Netflix, YouTube and the other main streaming apps are available through it.
