Look carefully at the QN70H row: Samsung's own specification sheet reads 50Hz native, plus DLG 120Hz. DLG (Dual Line Gate) trades vertical resolution for refresh rate — it is not the same as a native 120Hz panel.

How to Choose the Best 65 Inch TV
- How bright is your room? This decides more than anything else. Real daylight means Mini LED. A room you can darken means OLED is worth considering.
- Do you game on a console? If yes, high refresh is not optional and neither is VRR. The three that qualify here are the QN70F, the M80H and the Z670NK.
- Display technology. Crystal UHD → QLED → Mini LED → OLED, in ascending order of contrast and price.
- Do not shop by model year alone. The 2026 QN70H costs HK$3,000 more than the 2025 QN70F and has the lower refresh specification. Read the official spec sheet for each set rather than assuming newer is better.
- HDR format. Samsung uses HDR10+ across the whole range and never supports Dolby Vision. TCL, Hisense and Toshiba do support Dolby Vision. Most streaming platforms carry both.
