U8000H is a Crystal UHD LED-backlit LCD television with Crystal Processor 4K, HDR10+ support and a MetalStream chassis. It focuses on everyday television, films, sport and streaming rather than quantum-dot or Mini LED display technology. Motion and source compatibility
The Australian same-size tables list 50Hz native and 4K60 on HDMI 1/2/3, with VRR, ALLM and HGiG. DLG120 is a separate reduced-resolution mode on 55/65/75/85; Samsung’s footnote calls it 2K120 and requires a compatible PC and GameMode. It does not establish 4K120, an exact 1080p raster, a particular VRRrange or support for every console 120Hz mode. The 43/50 tables do not list DLG120. Buyers needing 4K120 should compare an explicitly documented input, not simply a Motion Xcelerator label.
Picture controls and audio connections
The Australian tables list Mega Contrast, UHD Dimming, Contrast Enhancer, Color Booster and Filmmaker Mode. These are picture-processing features, not confirmation of local dimming zones, measured brightness or a guaranteed advantage over every QLED alternative. 4K Upscaling adapts lower-resolution content but cannot make every source equivalent to native 4K.
Audio is 20W two-channel with OTS Lite, Adaptive Sound and Q-Symphony. Q-Symphony requires a compatible Samsung Sound Bar, sold separately. Count the three HDMI connections, including the soundbar’s eARC connection, alongside your set-top box and console; USB-A is for supported media and peripherals, not another HDMI input.
