Mobile reception, SIM and data checks
Match the regional frequency bands, SIM size, network provider and data plan to the exact camera version.
Test mobile coverage at the mounting point. Live viewing, playback and uploads can all use mobile data.
A 4G connection still needs power. Verify battery charging, any solar support and event or continuous recording for the model.
An indoor 4G camera is not automatically suitable outdoors. For local storage or footage recorded during a connection loss, verify memory-card support, recording behaviour and how playback works after reconnection. Cloud services also need a separate model and region check.
