Compare the plan terms as well as retention
- Check retention days, supported camera count and whether the plan records events or continuous history.
- Verify activation region, service duration, renewal arrangements and any automatic-renewal terms before purchase.
- An overseas offer, free trial or another brand’s service cannot be assumed to cover the camera or account.
For recording without a storage subscription, compare the camera’s supported microSD, NVR or hub options. Cloud uploads still require connectivity and may use 4G data. Set account sharing around who needs access and assess local and cloud retention separately.
