Reolink Argus Series B420 wire-free pan and tilt security camera: 3MP video, 355° pan and 140° tilt, person/vehicle detection, two-way audio, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and IP64.
Suitable uses
Suitable for monitoring positions where reducing fixed power wiring helps placement. Check Wi-Fi coverage, the intended recording mode and charging arrangements; solar accessories are included only where listed for this version.
Key features
- Turn it from your phone: Pan 355° and tilt 140° remotely, and save up to 32 preset positions to jump between spots quickly.
- Person and vehicle alerts: PIR sensing plus person and vehicle detection helps cut down false alerts, and the built-in mic and speaker let you talk through the camera.
- Battery or solar: The 17.2Wh battery charges via USB-C, and Reolink lists its 3W Solar Panel as a compatible power source.
Before using a battery pan-and-tilt camera at an entrance, read battery CCTV trigger recording versus pre-recording; viewing coverage and recording start time are separate considerations.

When it arrives: first setup and checks
- Power up in an accessible position, charging battery models as instructed, and check package contents. Use the exact model's manufacturer instructions and app prompts to add it. Do not substitute another version's pairing or reset procedure.
- Use this model's supported Wi-Fi band, Ethernet or base-station connection. Pair near the router where appropriate, then check signal at the intended position before fixing it in place.
- Configure account/device security and viewing permissions using this model’s supported settings. Check date, time, notifications and framing.
- Enable a supported card, NVR/hub or cloud recording method. Test recording, playback and storage location before permanent mounting. Live view does not mean recording is active. Battery models do not all support continuous recording.
