Reolink RLA-PS1 provides power and Ethernet connections for a wired PoE camera installation. Its key configuration is 8 poe+ ports; 2 gigabit uplinks, with 120w total poe budget; up to 30w per port.

Key features

  • Eight IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ ports provide power and data connections for compatible cameras, reducing separate power wiring at the camera positions.
  • Two Gigabit uplink ports connect the switch to the rest of the network, giving your camera cabling a central connection point.
  • A total 120W power budget supports a planned mix of devices; each PoE port can supply up to 30W within that shared limit.

Package and requirements

One RLA-PS1 switch; confirm power adapter and regional lead supplied.

Total connected power must remain within 120W; eight devices cannot all draw 30W simultaneously. Camera compatibility and available functions depend on the exact model, hardware and firmware. Cameras and installation cabling are separate unless expressly listed in the pack. Install the unit in a dry, ventilated indoor position with an appropriate power supply.

When it arrives: first setup and checks

  1. Before opening or fitting, match the exact camera model, accessory part number, connectors and capacity or power requirements. Similar appearance does not establish compatibility.
  2. Fit the accessory as instructed. For power, wall mounting or outdoor connectors, check load, cable routing and weatherproofing requirements. A solar panel must match the camera's supported input and connection.
  3. Recheck output voltage, current, polarity and plug before connecting. Verify power or charging as instructed; power alone does not establish a network connection or active recording.
